Default Supply Rates Actuals

Each month, EPCOR estimates the default supply energy prices and posts them on the website under Estimated Default Supply Rates. These prices reflect the forecast pool price, distribution system losses, load shape impacts, and the costs of managing energy purchases as well as retail costs associated with customer service and billing.

Once the monthly actual pool price in known, the default supply prices are recalculated. This actual price is what customers see on their bills.
