Inter-Affiliate Code of Conduct

What is the Inter-Affiliate Code of Conduct?

The EPCOR Inter-Affiliate Code of Conduct (the "AUC Code") arises from an order of the Energy Utilities Board (the "EUB") on February 3rd, 2004; Decision 2004-010. The AUC Code objectives are to provide standards and conditions for interaction between EPCOR's "Utility" (regulated) and "Non-Utility" (non-regulated) affiliates.

Key Requirements of the AUC Inter-Affiliate Code of Conduct:
  1. The prevention of cross subsidization between Utilities and Utility Affiliates.
  2. Protecting confidential customer information collected in the course of providing Utility service.
  3. Ensuring Non-Utility Affiliates and their customers do not have preferential access to Utility Services.
  4. The prevention of uncompetitive practices between Utilities and their Non-Utility Affiliates which would be detrimental to the interests of Utility Customers.
