Wastewater Treatment Plant
The City of Edmonton Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant treats a yearly average of 95,000 million litres of wastewater. The plant has tertiary treatment and UV disinfections which significantly reduces the amount of fecal coliforms, ammonia, nitrogen and phosphorus released to the river.
