Water Performance Reports

Wastewater Facts
  • EPCOR built a state-of-the-art tertiary level plant for the Town of Strathmore. It uses Sequencing Batch Reactor Technology.
  • A portion of the treated wastewater effluent is diverted to the local Freeman Marsh wetland project.
  • The wastewater collection system consists of five wastewater lift stations.
  • The storm water system includes two lift stations and eight outfalls that discharge to a series of storm water retention ponds. The storm water then flows via a watercourse to Eagle Lake, located approximately 4 km southeast of Strathmore.
