Strathmore Wastewater Treatment Plant
EPCOR built a state-of-the-art tertiary level plant for the Town of Strathmore. It uses Sequencing Batch Reactor Technology.
Wastewater Facts
- A portion of the treated wastewater effluent is diverted to the local Freeman Marsh wetland project.
- The wastewater collection system consists of 5 wastewater lift stations.
- The storm waster system includes 2 lift stations and 8 outfalls that discharge to a series of storm water retention ponds. The storm water them flows via a watercourse to Eagle Lake, located approximately 4 kilometers southeast of Strathmore.
