Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games

EPCOR's quest for excellence has led us on a journey like no other and we are proud to partner with VANOC as an Official Supplier of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. To build on our efforts in support of Canada's elite and aspiring athletes, we are also pleased to be an Official Supplier of the Canadian Olympic Team.

EPCOR Olympic Pin: To celebrate our involvement with the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, EPCOR developed a pin for exclusive distribution to EPCOR employees only so they could share their pride in their company and their community while supporting our athletes as they train for 2010 and beyond. EPCOR will not be producing a Vancouver 2010 Olympic pin for public distribution.

United Way Campaign

EPCOR's 2009 United Way campaign reached a record $412,322 thanks to the generous donations of employees across the company and the work of the many site reps and volunteers.

Junior Achievement

EPCOR has been the title sponsor of the Junior Achievement Alberta Business Hall of Fame since 2004.  The event recognizes individuals whose innovative approach towards business excellence and community service shine as an inspiring example for all young Albertans. The inductees represent outstanding achievement in free enterprise, coupled with community service.

Alberta Emerald Foundation

EPCOR is an Alberta Emerald Foundation ‘Emerald Leader’, supporting the annual Alberta Emerald Awards and the Internship Program. In 2008, EPCOR received an Emerald Award for environmental enhancements at the E.L. Smith Water Treatment Plant. The Emerald Awards recognize Alberta-based businesses, individuals, and organizations that make a significant contribution to preserving, protecting and enhancing the environment.
