To meet provincial regulations EPCOR Water is adding a process on site to remove chlorine from any residuals resulting from the treatment process. It will entail the construction of a few small structures and upgrading of existing facilities on the each and south side of the Rossdale water plant site.
July 2010 - March 2011
- Excavation of an area on the east side of the plant to prepare for building the first small structure.
- Temporarily move fence line further east to protect construction site
- Park landscaping and original fence line will be fully restored once the construction is
completed
- Construction equipment will be onsite.
- May be some disturbance to shrubs and grass in the area.
- Neighbhours may hear noise typically associated with construction equipment.
- Typical work hours are expected to be between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. with occasional work beyond these hours.
